Celebrate the dust and dirt.

Belly Itcher Team Sport Supply was exploring their own line of shirts, and asked if Maple & Belmont could help. They were looking to celebrate the early days of baseball, before the days of slick logos and million dollar contracts. The graphics would be printed on the front of the shirt, with a small accompanying graphic on the back just below the neckline.

Refining to Imperfection.

When lettering anything by hand, there is a fine line between too much refinement and preserving the hand-lettered quality. Often times, the project reaches a very refined stage, only to be taken a few steps back. The final stage of this project was to bring it back to the dugout with a bit of dirt.
